The golden sands of Hayle provide miles of beach ideal for bathing and surfing. On the other side of the bay St Ives has a host of galleries including the Tate and many restaurants. Also visit Godrevy with its beach full of rockpools over looked by its curious lighthouse and well known seal haul out. Penzance is a reasonable drive westwards but it s worth the effort for a day trip down to spend time exploring Praa Sands Marazion St Michaels Mount and the fishing villages of Newlyn and Mousehole all with spectacular scenery to enjoy on your way. For the family stop in at the Wildlife Sanctuary situated in Hayle and Flambards Theme Park The Minack Theatre and the National Seal Sanctuary at Gweek. Locally a golf course fishing country skittles and riding stables can be found too namely the Treemeadow Trout Fishery and BK Fisheries all within a few miles of the accommodation.
