This traditional cottage is set in a wonderfully remote location boasting fantastic views of the River Helmsdale and the enchanting countryside surroundings. The area is known as the golden eagle country and is great for spotting Scotland s rare and varied wildlife. The Forsinard nature reserve is just a short drive away and there are plenty of breathtaking walks in this fantastic unspoilt area as well as great locations for river and loch fishing. There s sea angling at Helmsdale a golf course nearby and even opportunities to try your hand at gold panning. From here there are links to popular destinations including John O Groats Cape Wrath and the Orkney Islands. On entering this delightful and inviting property you will find yourself in the attractive and welcoming lounge. With TV comfy seating and a traditional wood burner this is an ideal space for relaxing in at the end of a fantastic day. Exploring this pretty property further you will find a charming dining room with wood burner and exposed beams.
